Arriving in Osaka: choose the right airport and transport information

Start with the airport code and terminal on your flight booking. Separate KIX from ITM, then choose an official entry for airport access, city subway travel or a journey along a railway line.

Confirm your starting point, then check the travel day

  1. Identify the airport and station

Check the airport code and date on your booking. KIX is Kansai International Airport; ITM is Osaka International Airport (Itami). For train journeys, use the full departure and arrival station names rather than just “Umeda” or “Osaka”.

  2. Open information from the operator responsible for that leg

Use the airport access page to choose a mode of transport. Continue to the operator to check stations, date, direction, transfers and ticket conditions. This page does not calculate the fastest or cheapest route across operators.

  3. Check operations and deadlines on the day

A timetable does not guarantee that services are running as planned. Check the relevant operator and station displays. Allow separately for walking, transfers and airline check-in and boarding deadlines.

KIX · ITM · Osaka Metro · 阪急 · 京阪 · 大阪モノレール

Six entry points are grouped by task. This is a small selection, not the full transport directory or six direct airport services. For an unlisted airport or operator, use the official information matching your booking or actual route.
